What is The Club?

The Club is a part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield. We are here to create a safe space for Middle and High Schoolers to reach their full potential through developing technical and social emotional skills to set them up for future success. We are a space where teens can excel, and develop their skills in several key areas, including educational and career development, and artistic exploration. We do this through three main programs:

• Music Clubhouse – Our music production studio program is equipped with everything they’d need to write and produce tracks, including our recording booth, professional software for beat making, and podcasting studio. Whether they are interested in writing and producing their own music or they just want to sing along in our recording studio, there’s a space for everyone in our music program.
• Makers Space – Complete with supplies for painting, pottery, sewing, screen printing, digital art, felting, and everything in between, our Makers Space is the perfect place to let their creativity flow. Here, anything they can imagine, they can create.
• Esports – The Esports Arena is our space for competition and collaboration in equal measure. Join a team in either Rocket League or League of Legends and work together to grow their skills, and then put them to the test, or master new techniques for 1-on-1 action in Street Fighter. With 11 stations for playing and practice, and expert coaches on hand, they can plot a clear course for improvement in whichever of our games you prefer.

Membership to The Club is $12 per month. There is financial assistance available for those who need assistance.

Coming from Dick’s Sporting Goods (First Floor) : Turn right upon exiting the store to see The Club entrance.

Coming from Main entrance (parking lot on Route One side of mall, first floor) : Walk down main hallway towards TJ Maxx and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Reaching the end of the hallway at the main intersection, turn left. The Club entrance will be left of the entrance to Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Coming from Macy’s (First Floor) : Walk down main hallway towards TJ Maxx and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Reaching the end of the hallway at the main intersection, The Club entrance will be left of the entrance to Dick’s Sporting Goods.

FAQ

What are The Club’s Hours?
The Club program hours for teens will be Monday – Friday from 2PM-8PM and Saturday 12PM-6PM. There also may be events and rentals on the weekend.

Do you have to live in Saugus to attend the Club?
There is no residency requirement for the Club.

What are the age requirements for the Club?
Club membership begins in Middle School, 6^th grade (ages 11-12).

How do I sign up for the Club? Is there a fee?
